FIN GARDEN

Fin garden is one of the most beautiful persian garden . it is located in Kashan city 200 km faraway from Isfahan . the garden was made through the time of Safavid dynasty in 16 century .

Later through the time of Zand dynasty 18 century A.D and Qajar dynasty 19 century A.D they added some buildings. The garden is given the status of UNESCO world heritage site. garden has a sad story that is when in 19 century through the Qajar dynasty the persian chanceller Amir Kabir was exiled to this garden then he was killed by the order of Naser al din shah in Fin bath located in the garden .

Now this is one of the important historial site for visiting not only for iranian but also for foreign tourists who are interested in the history of iran .

There are two pool houses (persian :*SHotor gelou*) which the flowing water from the hillside is distributed in these two buildings .

There are also two traditional bath houses ( persian : hammam ) , bigger one belongs to Qajar and smaller one ( the place of the murder of Amir kabir ) that belongs to Safavid dynasty . aboundance of plants such as orange trees , fruits , bushes, flowers and jasmine has given a good feeling to this garden . garden is located 7 km far away from the city center . some other historical sites same as Borojerdi and Tabatabaei historical houses and Aghabozorg masque and Kashan bazzar are worth to visit . totall erea of garden is 23000 square meter . the altitude of kashan is 982 meter and population is around 350/000 people .

the frost days are 60 to 70 days in a year .

Kashan is the city of rose flowers , so you can visit and get rosewater usually during the second half of may . festival of rose and rosewater is being held in kashan every year . the time to pick up rose and making rosewater is from early may to mid june .
